Mosser Construction would like to congratulate project manager Rick Kusmer on his recent induction into the Bowling Green State University Rugby Hall of Fame.
Rick, a 1982 graduate of BGSU, was a four-year starter and a two-year team captain for the Falcons. In addition to leading the rugby team to an overall record of 168-30 record, he also won two Ohio Collegiate championships and helped BGSU finish in the top eight in the nation one year.
Amassing these accomplishments was not easy. Rick battled through numerous injuries and even played seven games in a single day – coming out the victor each time.
Mosser is also happy to share that Rick also started a great tradition for the BGSU rugby team. The Falcons won their first MAC championship under Rick’s leadership and the team has claimed a title each year since. BGSU has also won each Ohio Collegiate title since his tenure.
Rick has been with Mosser Construction since 1980 and has been a project manager for 34 years. His leadership on the rugby field has translated well into his current position, where he helps lead our crew each day.
Congratulations to Rick and his fellow teammates inducted into the BGSU Rugby Hall of Fame. Mosser is proud to have leaders such as Rick on our team!
