Fenner-Dunlop Addition

With the completion of their project known as the 96-inch solution, Fenner-Dunlop now produces the widest conveyor belts available in the world for mining and quarry operations.

The project included strip footings/piers for a 100’ w x 700’ l pre-engineered metal building containing two 75-ton and one 50-ton overhead cranes.

Fenner DunloopPlant Addition - InteriorThe building includes two runs of multiple equipment pads and various pits for fabrication and assembly of two types of 96” wide belts. Thirty-four alignment plates were precisely installed for the installation of the Italian and German equipment with zero variances.

Chilled water trenches, duct banks and storm lines were routed around the pits and equipment foundations. Existing water and storm lines were rerouted for the building.

  • Mosser completed 34 alignment plates in floor slabs and machinery pits
  • Independent testing confirmed zero deficiencies in both elevation and placement tolerances specified to the millimeter by equipment manufacturers from Italy and Germany
  • The facility features a 47′ clear height and includes one 50-ton was well as two 75-ton cranes
