In addition to the original Maumee High School that Mosser Construction completed in 1961, Mosser was awarded the expansion, renovation, and addition. It was rewarding to complete the building update with wiring/lighting upgrades, ceilings and sprinklers, wood casework, updated wall/floor finishes and air conditioning.
Additions included an administrative wing and a performing arts center. The science wing was easily added above the pan deck, cast-in-place concrete structure which Mosser completed 40+ years earlier.
The entire project, won through competitive bidding as two separate contracts, started three weeks late and was completed two months ahead of schedule through Mosser’s planning, project management, and productivity.
