911 Memorial

We are thrilled to be part of honoring the lost souls of 9/11 in a project announced this week by Toledo Regional Architects, Contractors, & Engineers (TRACE).

The United States Air Force 180th Fighter Wing Ohio Air National Guard has spent the last 3 years working toward their vision of a memorial that would honor those affected by the tragedy of that day as well as a reminder to “Never Forget.”

The beautiful design takes shape in the form of a clock and includes a beam from the World Trade Center, limestone from the Pentagon, and soil from the Pennsylvania field where Flight 93 was lost.

As members of TRACE, Mosser Construction will be supporting this project by helping to provide engineering,  construction, and pre-construction services.

The 9/11 Memorial will be located at the center of the Ohio Air National Guard Base and will open on September 11, 2016, the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that scarred our nation, but did not defeat it.
