Talent & Training Manager


Mosser Group is looking for a Talent and Training Manager to design and implement strategies to recruit, develop, train, and retain high-performing employees. To be successful in this role, candidates should have a solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting, a strategic mindset to develop and train a skilled workforce, and an ability to encourage a work culture that attracts and retains talent.


  • Work in partnership with the department managers to build a talent pipeline that aligns with the Mosser Group’s needs and business objectives
  • Oversee sourcing and hiring procedures to ensure we attract and select high-potential employees
  • Build training programs that foster engagement and grow expertise
  • Train and supervise department managers in the proper recruiting and interviewing processes
  • Create and suggest new and effective interviewing procedures and techniques
  • Conduct effective onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Formulate career-path planning initiatives and succession planning initiatives
  • Attend recruiting and jobs fairs to search out prospective employees
  • Work with the marketing and management team to build a work culture that is conducive to attracting and retaining talent
  • In conjunction with the HR Manager, perform benchmark analysis of compensation and benefits
  • Provide team members with direction for leadership and development initiatives
  • Calculate employee engagement metrics (e.g., retention and turnover rates)


  • B.S. or master degree in organization development, education, human resources, or relevant field
  • 2+ years of proven experience in talent management and recruitment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefit packages
  • Experience in designing and executing traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for recruitment reporting and training manuals
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
  • Understanding of fair employment practices
  • Consistently meets deadlines
  • Respectful and patient
  • Proficient computer and database skills

Project Manager / Estimator

Job Summary:

Immediate opening in our Toledo office for a project manager/estimator with 5 years experience in commercial/industrial construction.

Human Resource / Safety Administrative Assistant


The Human Resource/Safety Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing various duties within the HR and Safety departments. The HR/Safety Administrative Assistant assists with the daily operations of the HR department and supports HR/Safety activities and programs such as on-boarding, orientations, training and safety. The HR/Safety Administrative Assistant ensures that processes are conducted and completed in accordance with applicable standards, state and federal requirements.


  • Create and maintain personnel files
  • Assists with new employee on-boarding and orientations
  • Completes I-9 verification and maintains I-9 files
  • Complete employment verification
  • Assists with employee benefit administration and basic employee information requests
  • Update applicant tracking data
  • Conduct background checks and verification for new hires, current employees as required or directed
  • Track and audit driving license records, driver qualification records, employee training records and drug testing records
  • Assist with the administration of Ohio Workers’ Compensation
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions and tracking training certificates
  • Provide clerical and operational support to other HR/Safety staff
  • Maintain required OSHA reports
  • Track and maintain vendor certificates of insurance and BWC certificates
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and security of all employee records and information
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years administrative office/clerical support experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
