Healthy and Safety Announcement

Updated March 24, 2020

To our Mosser Clients, Families and Friends,

Ohio has recently ordered a Stay-at-Home mandate for Ohioans that will take effect at 12:00 a.m., Tuesday March 24, 2020.  As part of the order, a list of essential industries was provided to clarify what businesses shall remain open and which shall close.  Under Section 9 of the Stay-at-Home directive, construction was deemed an essential industry with some stipulations.

To date, Mosser has assembled a taskforce that has been monitoring the CDC and Government recommendations daily and has already put into place a number of protocols to keep our people, and the many individuals who construct our projects, safe and healthy. These protocols include:

  • Both Fremont and Maumee headquarters and Contractors Equipment will be closed to the public. Providing a safe place for our employees to work is a top priority.
  • All employees must report temperatures daily to their supervisors we are also encouraging our subcontractors and vendors to do the same prior to visiting jobsites or offices.
  • There will be daily disinfecting of common spaces including trailers and jobsites.
  • Practices have been put in place to encourage remote work where feasible and still maintain essential operations.
  • Social distancing (maintaining at least six foot between one another) practices have been instituted in all of our facilities and project sites.
  • Project teams will communicate with all parties on jobsites to ensure that everyone is following the appropriate protocols being required of them.

Employees feeling ill must stay home and can return to work once they meet the Mosser Return Work Criteria that follows the CDC guidelines:

  • No fever for at least 72 hours (Three full days of no fever without the use of medicine that reduces fevers).
  • Symptoms have improved
  • At least 7 days have passed since the symptoms first appeared

Our team will continue to closely monitor the development of COVID-19 pandemic and provide regular updates on our business operations as the environment changes. Although most of our jobsites will remain open, we will do so with the utmost care and attention to the health and well-being of our project teams, partners, clients and the community as a whole.

We ask for patience during this difficult time as we know that schedules and services provided to our clients will likely be adjusted as we move forward.  Contact our main corporate number at 419-334-3801 during normal business hours with any questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
