Talent & Training Manager



Mosser is looking for a Talent and Training Manager to design and implement strategies to recruit, develop, train, and retain high-performing employees. To be successful in this role, candidates should have a solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting, a strategic mindset to develop and train a skilled workforce, and an ability to encourage a work culture that attracts and retains talent.


  • Work in partnership with department managers to build a talent pipeline that aligns with Mosser's needs & business objectives
  • Oversee sourcing and hiring procedures to ensure we attract and select high-potential employees
  • Build training programs that foster engagement and grow expertise
  • Train and supervise department managers in the proper recruiting and interviewing processes
  • Create and suggest new and effective interviewing procedures and techniques
  • Conduct effective onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Formulate career-path planning initiatives and succession planning initiatives
  • Attend recruiting and jobs fairs to search out prospective employees
  • Work with marketing & management team to build a work culture conducive to attracting & retaining talent
  • In conjunction with the HR Manager, perform benchmark analysis of compensation and benefits
  • Provide team members with direction for leadership and development initiatives
  • Calculate employee engagement metrics (e.g., retention and turnover rates)


  • B.S. or master degree in organization development, education, human resources, or relevant field
  • 2+ years of proven experience in talent management and recruitment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefit packages
  • Experience in designing & executing traditional & modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for recruitment reporting and training manuals
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
  • Understanding of fair employment practices
