This project was an interior renovation to existing spaces within the fully-occupied hospital on the ground floor. Phase I included creating spaces for the hospital’s X-ray and CT imaging machines. The second portion of the first phase included complete demolition and renovation of an existing space for an outpatient center (blood draw area). The second and final phase consisted of interior renovations for a radiology reception and waiting room area. This was a general contact, all trades, including fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical trades. We were also responsible for coordination with the owner’s equipment contractor, GE Imaging, for the new CT and X-ray machines.
This project had clearly defined ICRA standards throughout the duration. Mosser was required to follow the hospital’s ICRA and cleaning standards on a daily basis. All of the renovation areas had temporary construction barriers that isolated these areas from the hospital staff and the general pubic. The temporary barriers and cleanliness of the project were monitored on a daily basis by the hospital staff.
