The project entailed the construction of a new water treatment plant to replace the existing facility. Work consisted of an underground concrete detention tank, one-story slab masonry structure with wood trusses and shingle roof and an 8” and under SCH 80 PVC piping system.
This project was awarded ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) stimulus funding through the Ohio EPA.
Water treatment system is by Tonka and consists of:
- Vertical tank pressure filtration systems
- Vertical tank pressure water softener systems
- Brine exchange systems
- Induced draft aerator
The plant controls, monitors and records an auto dial system to monitor and control water distribution to two (2) existing water towers.
